Writing this book was quite easy. It started out as words to explain the pictures and as words to fill in the gaps between the pictures.  The whole process of delivering the book to the publisher and finding the right way of delivering the pictures in such a way that their message remained true to its content was a whole therapy in itself. 

Over and over again we were confronted with limitations, with views. What we tried to capture in these pictures is something that has become such a rare commodity in our lives, the giving and receiving of space, love and energy, allowing the arising of consciousness in both therapist and baby.   Since I started giving trainings on how to work with babies, in 1996, Neeto was there to capture all that what was happening on celluloid.  Since that time, we have acquired four or five shoeboxes filled with pictures of all kinds of babies and small children. In the many courses that I have given since I started teaching how to work with babies, hundreds of pictures have been taken.  Some happy, some as unhappy as can be, but all pictures had something in common that is unique. None of them are posed none of them are planned, they all have that quality of innocence with which we all are born.  

 Most of the babies that came for sessions are not sick or damaged in any way. They are regular babies, invited by me or my students to be my demonstration models.  In regular sessions some of them came for a real problem and some of them just came to be checked out.

As a couple we could together touch, bring out and capture the most precious elements of what is still so close to the surface with our young ones.  The first draft of this book was to publish just the pictures, so everybody could see for themselves what this work is all about. But then I realized that with the pictures came the opportunity to tell the story of the pictures.  So I started with explaining what was happening in the pictures. But then I realized the opportunity given to me by the pictures themselves; to tell not only this story, but to tell the story of mankind.

It is as you can read in the book a story of hidden potential. Every one of us has the ability, is given the chance of living their lives as fully as possible.   And every one of us has a potential, a possibility inside of him/herself of reaching the highest peaks of consciousness.  But if we look at the state of our planet, something is missing, something has gone horribly wrong.  It is unavoidable if we keep on treating our newborns in the way that we have been doing for the last hundreds of years.  Our book shows how to give back to every child its potential.

When the maximum of life force that is possible in a body has the space to express itself in that body, that person will achieve his/her maximum potential.   Otherwise, it dwells in the fear and survival mode of the reptilian brain and cannot develop new and more creative avenues of existence.  This is where we find ourselves today.  Our politicians are not Einsteins, Beethovens, and other geniuses.

This is the only alternative there is, the other one is full destruction of nature.  We do not only want to heal sick babies or sick children, we want to create the ‘new man’.  And the new man is nothing else than the one that exists already, with one little difference.  Cranio Sacral techniques have opened up the brain, have opened up the heart, and very simply, have opened up the possibility of godliness to descend into the body.
