About the Authors

Etienne Peirsman and Neeto Peirsman have written a fantastic book on Craniosacral Therapy for babies and children.  This book is now available on-line at North Atlantic Books.

Etienne Peirsman (MM Master of Meditation) worked as a high school biology and physical education teacher in Antwerp, Belgium for many years. At a certain point he made a life change, went to India for 3 years where he studied meditation, Rebalancing and Craniosacral therapy.   He studied and continues to study with Dr. John Upledger and has been a practicing Craniosacral therapist and teacher for more than 15 years.  His unique teaching method brings meditation into the sensitivities of both his clients and students.  He lives with his wife in Antwerp, Belgium and in the U.S.

Neeto Peirsman (BA Psychology) has studied and worked extensively with children for the last 30 years. In the early '70s she owned an esoteric bookstore until 1977, when she went to live and work in India for the next 13 years. She was drawn there to find a way of consciousness deeper than books could take her. While she was there she lived and worked in an ashram, experiencing meditation, Indian Dhrupad music, Zen and Sufism. Eventually Etienne found her and now they work as a team in the Cranio field, with babies and children of all ages. While Neeto does not give Cranio sessions herself, she often establishes the initial contact when mothers or babies need help to relax. Currently she works as a private consultant to new mothers and babies.
